Asus Zenfone 9, the latest Zenfone series smartphone by Asus, already launched last month. Now, Asus is planning to introduce Asus Zenfone 9 in the Indian market under the Asus 9z label later this month.

The Asus ZenFone 9 or Asus 9z will be among the first smartphones in India to have Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. So, let’s have a look at the specifications of Asus’s upcoming smartphone in the country.

Asus 9z or Asus Zenfone 9 Specifications

Asus 9z is powered with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset under the hood. It is combined with 8 GB or16GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Zen UI 9, which is based on Android 12.

In terms of display, the Asus ZenFone 9 comes with a 5.9-inch AMOLED display, which is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The gadget also has a high refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR10+ video support.

The smartphone is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor which supports six-axis gimbal stabilization, and a 12MP IMX363 ultra-wide angle lens, which supports macro photography. For selfies and video calling, the device features a 12MP Sony IMX663 lens.

The phone is packed with a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The device comes with a 169gm lightweight design.

The smartphone comes with dual stereo speakers with OZO Audio technology. The good news is that Asus Zenfone 9 is still equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. There is also IP68 water and dust resistant certification.

The gadget comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device’s power button enables a variety of gestures, including voice-to-text functions, open notifications, scrolling web pages, and more.

The Asus ZenFone 9 or Asus 9z has 5G SA / NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity.
