The Google Pixel 6a could be released in India on Thursday, July 21. The Google Pixel 6’s low-cost variant was introduced earlier this year at Google I/O. Because Google delayed the release of multiple Pixel phones following the Pixel 4a, the Pixel 6a is more likely to appear in India. Google has not yet declared the debut of the Pixel 6a in India, although it has purportedly appeared on various purchasing websites.
Tipster Sahil Karoul, who earlier claimed to know the Pixel 6a’s price in India, has now revealed when it would be available. He stated that the launch will take place on Thursday, but Google has yet to comment. According to him, the box pricing will be Rs 43,999. Meanwhile, tipster Abhishek Yadav speculated on the Pixel 6a’s launch price, citing Karoul’s tweet.
To put this in context, the Pixel 6a costs $449 in the United States. This equates to approximately Rs 35,900. The Pixel 4a, which is over two years old, was released at Rs 31,999, with an introductory price of Rs 29,999 for the first few weeks.
Even if Rs 37,999 is the price that tipsters are unanimously predicting, it is a significant premium, but not an unreasonable one. The Pixel 6a arrives two years after the Pixel 4a, leaving behind the epidemic. The smartphone production sector as a whole has been hampered by logistical challenges and a global component shortage. To address the challenges and streamline the business, smartphone costs have risen dramatically in recent months.
Realme Pad X 5G, Realme Watch 3 are on the way to India
Google released the Pixel 6a in certain markets, including the United States and Canada, in May. Pre-orders will commence in the first-wave countries on July 21, however, it appears that this will coincide with the launch in India.
